VIY5-070 Ground Penetrating Radar
The VIY5-070 Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a professional low-frequency subsurface imaging system designed for deep geological investigations and large-scale underground exploration. Equipped with a 70 MHz shielded antenna system, the VIY5-070 provides exceptional penetration depth, allowing professionals to investigate geological formations, underground voids, tunnels, and other large subsurface structures. Under favorable ground conditions, the system can achieve a maximum investigation depth of up to 30 meters, making it the deepest-penetrating model in the VIY5 product range.
Unlike compact monoblock GPR systems, the VIY5-070 utilizes separate transmitter and receiver antenna units, minimizing surface interference and improving signal quality during deep investigations. Combined with advanced Telbin® signal enhancement technology, real-time filtering, GPS compatibility, and professional VIY software, the system delivers reliable performance for demanding geological, hydrological, environmental, and engineering surveys.

Basic applications:
- Research of geological structures
- Investigation of man-caused accident areas
- Search for underground objects (voids, cracks, heterogeneous inclusions, fissuring rocks)
- Search for underground constructions (underground passages, sewers, etc.)
- Ground water level mapping
- Search for soil frost penetration zones, permafrost areas
- Exploring ground structure in quarries
- Subsurface deposits profiling
- Search for source of leakage from pipelines by indirect signs (excessive moisture)
- Hydrologic investigations of bottom structure at fresh water reservoirs
Features:
- GPR consists of 2 separate antenna units: transmitter and receiver
- Direct connection of Measuring wheel and GPS to antenna unit
