MINELAB X-Terra 505
The X-TERRA 505 is a high performance, mid-range detector in the Minelab X-TERRA Series. With advanced capability, great depth and excellent discrimination, the X-TERRA 505 is the ideal all-rounder to take your detecting experience to the next level. The X-TERRA 505 has 3 frequency capability and can adapt easily to your target.
Increased ground balance capability, compatability, extra detecting patterns - these are just some of the many feautres you can look forward to with the X-TERRA 505, a top-of-the-line detector.
The X-TERRA 505 is an improved ADVENTURE detector with all the X-TERRA 305 features and more.
The mid-level X-TERRA 505 is very easy to use. Thanks to many preset functions, you can switch it on and go detecting straight away. It’s taking your adventure to the next level! With a large LCD screen you can easily see all the important information needed to identify the targets you have detected. With increased discrimination precision, extra depth and improved Ground Balance accuracy, you will be reaping the rewards with minimum effort.
This lightweight well balanced detector lets you search comfortably for long periods of time. The standard waterproof coil detects deep on most targets. The full range of seven accessory coils provides added versatility, including a low frequency coil for added deep seeking ability.
Advantages:
- Easy to use - switch on and go!
- Three preset Discrimination Patterns, ideal for beginners through to intermediate users.
- Tell good targets from junk more accurately
- Three different ways to identify targets before digging them up: Target ID numbers,
- Target ID Tones and a 19 segment Discrimination Scale.
- Customisable Notch Discrimination
- The discrimination segments can be easily selected to accept wanted targets or reject unwanted targets, plus they’re all automatically saved ready for your next adventure.
- Adjustable Ground Balance setting (manual 0-50)
- Cancel false signals from ground mineralisation and find targets other detectors miss.
- Improved depth. Find more coins, artefacts and jewellery deeper than with the X-TERRA 305.
- VFLEX Technology (3 frequencies - 3 kHz, 7.5 kHz, 18.75 kHz) You can change the detector’s frequency by changing coils. The additional 3 kHz option gives you extra depth and more precise target identification.
Description
Specifications:
- The X-TERRA 505 is the high performance, mid-range detector. The perfect all rounder: equally at home on land or at the beach, the X-TERRA 505 now has full frequency capability and can adapt easily to coin and treasure and relic hunting.
- Minelab's "True Digital" VFLEX technology single frequency detector - you can change the operating frequency simply by changing coils.
- Compatible with low frequency (LF) 3kHz waterproof coils as well as medium 7kHz and high frequencies 18.75kHz.
The LF coil option is ideal for hunting large, deep targets. All seven X-TERRA Coils can now be used on the X-TERRA 505. - Increased Ground Balance capability, range now (0-50), allowing the user to adjust to ground mineralization.
- Extra detecting pattern - Now features 3 preset detecting patterns, that can also be customised, plus All Metal mode.
- Choice of 1,2,3 or 4 Tone ID plus Multi-tone Target ID (19) response options increasing your flexibility in deciding how target signals are represented.
- Larger discrimination range allowing for finer discrimination of high conductive targets.
- Increased Noise Cancel range, now 5 manual settings, allowing greater choice of detecting channel.
- Increased Target Volume Adjust range, now (0-30), allowing better target response.
- Threshold adjustment, with a range of -5 to 25, allowing the user to set threshold to level where slight variations from either very small shallow, or very large deep, targets can be noticed.
