Metal detecting in 2021 needs a revolution, badly! This work at least provides a start and covers how I turned my metal detecting from boring and predictable, to fantastic! Tired of hunting the same old parks and schools and recovering the same old stuff? I was too, until I made a huge change in where I metal detected. Street metal detecting is indeed the last frontier of what I call fun metal detecting. How many of us, who once had a passion for metal detecting, have given up on the hobby? We dig the same old stuff, trip in and trip out. I was so bored of metal detecting that I almost gave my detector away, one hot day in a Santa Rosa California park. Boy am I glad I Didn't! I discovered a whole new way of metal detecting, far removed from the usual parks and schoolyards routine.
