Geoscanners SPG-2309
Integrated GPR System
The new SPG2309 is the continuation of Geoscanners’ development in airborne Ground Penetrating Radar systems.
This unit combines a newly developed acquisition electronics, quieter data path and an excellent antenna design. All of this provides the user with a much cleaner data as well as faster acquisition times.
The collected data is stored via a WiFi link, an Ethernet link or directly on an onboard SD card for autonomous flight mode.
The unit is powered via PoE or direct supply from the drone’s power system.
There is available a module that allows the end user to implement his/her own application software.

The SPG2309 is an all in one airborne Ground Penetrating Radar system specifically designed for mid-range applications. This unit addresses the problem of mid-range surveys in extremely difficult terrain where the use of ground coupled antennas or systems is impractical or impossible.
The device comprises the transmitting and receiving transducers, as well as the control electronics and power supplies needed for a fully integrated system.
The unit’s radar has been extensively upgraded with all the latest developments in the field, providing a cleaner data for more reliable and faster results.
Like all other fully integrated airborne systems manufactured by Geoscanners AB, the new SPG2309 has an internal data storage that permits surveys in autonomous mode without the need for the computer to be connected to the unit at all times. This eliminates the possibility of data loses.
